Welcome to the Doing Media Studies website. This site is an accompaniment to our textbook Media Studies: Text, Production and Context published by Pearson. It provides additional and supplementary materials to engage media students and offers a wealth of information for those with an interest in studying the media.

On the site, you will find case studiesblogs from academic experts, examples of tasks we have set and answers from students. If you would like to contribute to this site, please contact us and we’ll be in touch about the ways in which you can take part.

This website is also acts as a hub to a wider network of media students via social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook and Flickr, where we are also active.

Thanks for visiting and we hope that this website inspires you to study the media and to investigate our textbook, Media Studies: Text, Production and Context.
